Menuda Loyalty Program Terms

Last updated: 2026(e)ko urriaren 21(a)

These terms govern participation in the loyalty program (also called “club” or “member program”) that a restaurant or restaurant group offers through the Menuda.app platform.

By joining the program you accept these terms and the Menuda.app Privacy Policy where applicable.

1. Who is involved

  • Restaurant or group (data controller for your relationship as a member): enables the program, sets the club name, points per visit, birthday offers and member benefits (for example member prices on the menu).
  • Menuda.app (processor / technology provider): provides the digital infrastructure (enrollment, verification, digital wallet, points management and authorized communications) on behalf of the restaurant.

If the restaurant publishes additional own terms, they apply together with this document. If there is a conflict about how the Menuda service works technically, these platform terms prevail.

2. Purpose of the program

The program lets you:

  1. Be identified as a member of the restaurant or group.
  2. Earn points for visits or other actions configured by the restaurant.
  3. Access member benefits (prices, offers, promotions or rewards) when the restaurant enables them.
  4. Receive, with your consent, commercial communications from the restaurant or group through the channels below.
  5. Save, when available, a digital card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Participation is voluntary. Without the required enrollment data and consents, signup cannot be completed.

3. Enrollment requirements

To join you must provide and confirm at least:

DataRequirement
NameRequired
Mobile phone (international format)Required — verified with an SMS code
Email addressRequired
Date of birthRequired
Acceptance of these program termsRequired
Consent to commercial communications (email, SMS and WhatsApp)Required to complete enrollment

You must be at least 14 years old. If you are a minor under the law of your country of residence, you may participate only where allowed and, when required, with authorization from your legal representative.

Your phone is verified with a one-time code (OTP) sent by SMS. Misuse of the verification service may lead to refusal or suspension of enrollment.

4. Member profile and points

  • Each restaurant keeps its own points balance. In group programs you may have one profile and different balances per venue.
  • Points, their value, expiry, redemption and limits are defined by the restaurant and may change with reasonable notice where the law allows.
  • Points are not money, are not transferable unless the restaurant expressly allows it, and do not create a right to financial compensation if the program changes or ends, beyond what consumer law requires.
  • The restaurant may require identification on site (member code, wallet or phone) to credit visits or redemptions.

5. Communications

By checking the communications consent at signup, you authorize the restaurant (and Menuda as technology provider) to send you commercial and program information by:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp

These may include club news, offers, reminders, birthday benefits, invitations and related content from the restaurant or group.

You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting the restaurant or, when available, from your member profile / club management. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing or strictly necessary operational notices about your membership.

6. Digital card (Wallet)

If Apple Wallet and/or Google Wallet are configured, you may add a digital card with your member code and, where applicable, points balance. Availability depends on your device, country and restaurant/Menuda configuration. Menuda does not guarantee continuous availability of third-party services (Apple, Google).

7.5 Rights

You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent with the restaurant or via Menuda channels (contact form / soporte@menuda.app), without prejudice to lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

8. Proper use and suspension

You agree to provide accurate data and not to use the program fraudulently (e.g. fake signups, points manipulation or offer abuse). The restaurant or Menuda may suspend or cancel participation upon reasonable suspicion of fraud, breach of these terms or legal requirements.

9. Changes and program ending

The restaurant may change benefits, point thresholds or end the program. Menuda may update these platform terms; the current version is published at /legal/loyalty. Material changes will be communicated by a reasonable means (including channels you authorized or notices in signup/profile).

10. Liability

Menuda provides the program technology on an “as available” basis. Commercial configuration of the club (points, offers, member prices) is the restaurant’s responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect damages arising from use of the program, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
